The Climb For Life 2012 took place on Saturday, 5th May and was a highly enjoyable and fulfilling event. Up to 100 people joined in the Climb which commenced with Rosary at Our Lady's Grotto at the foot of the reek. The Climb was led by members of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal and Mass was celebrated at the Reek by Fr. Maurice Colgan O.P.The weather was excellent and pro-life advocates young and old from all over Ireland climbed the mountain. Representatives from many pro-life organisations participated and the Climb presented a genuine opportunity for groups and individuals to unite in a pilgrimage to promote the dignity and humanity of the unborn child from conception.We are already looking forward to Climb 2013!
